Following the first-round GDMFS pre-survey, our team travelled all the way to Huizhou (city in Guangdong province) on July 31st to carry out the second-round pre-survey. Assoc. Prof. Zhongfei Chen, Postdoc Jie Huang, Dr. Minzhe Du, SDC Project Execution Director Yingqi Murong, SDC Project Execution Supervisor Yujing Luo and Jingyi Yuan participated in the pre-survey.

The very first destination of this pre-survey was a software & IT company. The chairman willingly answered all of our questions, and gave our team a comprehensive introduction to the company.

Once finished, GDMFS team continued its survey by stopping at one of the decoration engineering companies in Huizhou – our team worked in great sync there, hence successfully completing pre-survey of the second sample company.

On August 1st, our team proceeded with GDMFS pre-survey in Huizhou, paying a visit to a local sino-foreign joint venture chemical engineering enterprise. General manager extended his warmest welcome to our team, and soon joined Assoc. Prof. Zhongfei Chen in a discussion regarding this on-going survey. At the meantime, Quality Department Manager took his time to sit down with Yingqi Murong and complete the questionnaire. 

Eventually, the team met with the Chairman of the company who shed light on the overall company’s situation.

Right afterwards, GDMFS team visited electronics manufacturing enterprise. After learning more about the company and completing questionnaire survey, both sides had talked over the future development of this company.

The last sample company was a silicone rubber manufacturing enterprise. Posdoc Jie Huang had an in-depth discussion with the company’s representative, thus learning about the company and its development strategy, whereas Yujing Luo and Jingyi Yuan had successfully carried out questionnaire survey to the company’s leaders.

Thanks to the cooperation of sample companies, second-round pre-survey went down smoothly. We are now preparing for the third-round pre-survey, and will start it very soon!
